2004: Walk of Hope for NOCA!

3rd Annual - First ever held in BC!

Holly Trainor and Sandi Piper; the organizers for the Comox Valley Walk for Hope event; are both ovarian cancer survivors. It has been part of their healing journey to connect with NOCA and in furthering the purpose of NOCA with this 1st ever Walk of Hope in BC!

The triumphant announcement at the closing ceremonies was the huge success of the walk nationally, in 8 cities, with over $240,000 raised. An astonishing 10% raised in the Comox Valley.
