Celebrate Life Living Our Goals and Dreams

Celebrate Life! Seize the Moment!

When there’s an episode like cancer, an accident, a traumatic loss, does each moment become more precious? Perhaps, perhaps not. It’s an individual thing. Welcoming each day with enjoyment and appreciation is definitely an attitude, a state of mind.

A dear friend, Helen, sent me a card several years ago, it’s been on my fridge ever since. She passed away soon after. It’s a simple card. It reads "The perfect gift of another day has been given to you."

Another friend, Clarence, often says “Everyday this side of the grass is a good day.”

Triumphs over fears, attaining lofty goals, spiritual growth, new adventures, accepting invitations, enjoying family and friends, hosting, sharing laughter - especially at yourself, life’s milestones, stopping to smell the roses, counting your blessing - all are celebrating life.

These are a small collection of my personal stories about achievements and events; things that have importance for me; things that, with different choices, perhaps I might not have lived to see or do. Some are things I never thought I would get to see or do.

My best advice to you is:

  • Reach beyond your limits - burst forth into new experiences and celebrate your own triumphs.
  • Treasure the big and the small.

Here’s to our health! Celebrate Life!

Seize the Moment, every Moment.
